Daniel Hassan, President and CEO
Dan is a dedicated leader who has provided senior level management and development services in senior housing since
1990, in addition to 15 years of hospitality management experience. Dan brings a personalized level of management to
his clients, while excelling at business plan development and finance structuring. He has consulted on or has been
involved in the development, turn around and management of dozens of communities around the country. Dan's
management skills, hospitality background and financial expertise combine to provide a complementary approach that
results in communities with a high level of resident satisfaction and profitability. His commitment to fiscal
responsibility and efficient, cost effective use of time and resources consistently deliver quality results. Dan received
his BA from Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts, and MBA from Suffolk University, Boston, MA.
Rebecca Stearns, VP, Director of Development
Rebecca is an accomplished leader in long term care and the senior housing industry. She has a history of success both in new community
development and turn-around situations. Her experience includes 10 years as an Executive Director in independent living,
assisted living, and specialized memory care programs that performed at the highest levels. Rebecca's background and education
includes a degree in healthcare administration and serving on the board of the Vermont Health Care Association. Her ability to
create and implement systems, operational programs, policies and procedures, integrate technology applications and navigate local
planning and zoning processes enables our company to create and maintain high quality communities. Rebecca received her BS
from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI.
Nancy Nelson-Jones, VP, Director of Marketing
Nancy is a sales and marketing specialist with nearly 20 years experience in the senior housing industry. She has successfully marketed
communities in both the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas as a senior level manager. Nancy specializes in lead fulfillment
and management, product positioning, and community outreach. Her experience includes successfully marketing CCRC's, independent
living, assisted living, and specialized memory care programs. Nancy's expertise provides our company with the skills to
meet and exceed occupancy projections. She has published numerous articles and columns regarding caring for and the needs of
older adults. Nancy received her BS from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI.
Stephen Gunnerson, VP, Director of Operations
Steve is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a certified Retirement Housing Professional, with over two decades of experience
in the long term care industry. Steve's experience includes executive level management at several communities throughout
New England, including the planning and implementation of several new or expansion projects. Steve provides operational oversight
and specialization in all areas of community operations, including human resource management, financial management, and
community relations. Steve's leadership skills and team building talents combined with his technical skills provides our company
with the ability to create strong relationships both inside and outside of our communities. Steve received his BA from Eastern
Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, MRE from Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO, and CSS from Harvard
University, Cambridge, MA.
Richard Hamilton Pete, VP, Design and Creativity
Rick's early work included projects that comprise industrial, commercial, public, and residential spaces including; Fox Studios,
Hollywood CA; Corning Riverfront Park, Corning NY; National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.; Getty Center, Los Angeles,
CA; and Henry Moore Sculpture Gardens, Kansas City, MO.
Rick's senior housing work includes The Lodge at Otter Creek, Middlebury, VT which blends environmental sensitivity in an “Old
Field” setting of natural plants, flowering hedgerows and wildflower meadows encouraging casual strolls to gazebos, tennis courts,
and golf greens. Wide-ranging thought and design influences were utilized in our “Paradise Garden” designs within the memory
care programs, which offer special features for residents to help stimulate and encourage interaction and active living in a secure
setting. Rick received his BS and BFA from the University of Delaware and his Masters of Landscape Architecture from the
University of Pennsylvania. |
